At the heart of many a countryside village can be found an inn. A place where locals go to relax after a long day. At one such inn, rumour has it that inquisitive ferrets would sneak to the back door to cheekily sample the local brew. A sweet nutty palate, hoppy aroma and a hint of Seville oranges, give this tawny amber ale its distinctive personality. Recommended with smooth and creamy West Country Cheddar or indulgent pork pies and mustard.

Fles gedeeld door Koenzie, geprobeerd met Roelzie. Het is een helder amberkleurig bier met een volle witte schuimkraag. Het heeft een aroma van mout en toffee. De smaak is moutig, zacht zoet en ebt snel weg.

Draft at a pub in London. Muddled amber pour and small sudsy head. Nose is malt. Tastes of malt, pleather, some brown sugar, dark bread. Light bodied. Easy drinking.

50cl bottle. Pours a beautiful brilliant red, old school English style, clear, with fine, whitish foam. Aroma is earthy, a little caramel. Body and carbonation are average. Taste is well balanced between some sweetness and some earthy bitterness. Final is average.

På fat på den gode nabo Trondheim. Tåkete mørk brun med hvitt skum. Lukter karamell og litt kjeller. Medium. Bitter med smak av karamell og noe tørkede frukter

Amber. Klar. Filmskum med litt farge. God karamellaroma. Smaken kjeks & frukt. Fortsatt karamell i en beskjeden bitter avslutning. Bra bitter!
