Named in honour of the inquisitive and extremely “fursty” ferrets of the Gribble Inn, a celebrated golden brown ale, full of character.
At the heart of many a countryside village can be found an inn. A place where locals go to relax after a long day. At one such inn, rumour has it that inquisitive ferrets would sneak to the back door to cheekily sample the local brew. A sweet nutty palate, hoppy aroma and a hint of Seville oranges, give this tawny amber ale its distinctive personality. Recommended with smooth and creamy West Country Cheddar or indulgent pork pies and mustard.

From bottle at Knights Tower 16.08.22. Clear dark golden. Beige head and lacing. Nice taste of pale malt, crystal malt, English meadowy hops, succade and a subtle hint of herbs and spices. Good!

Foamed off white head on slowly carbonating deep amber coloured body. Malt, caramel & fruity aroma. Medium bodied, smooth with a tingle on the cloying back. Malt, tea, berries & sweet biscuit with a tangy bitter finish. That's quite a tasty brew.

Bottle from Systembolaget. Nice to have a homely British bitter available on tillfäligt sortiment. Somewhat plain and metallic aroma. Clear plain mahogany with thin lasting bitter foam. Somewhat metallic taste with caramelish malts coming through. One of those beers that I would be happy to have a crate of, as if you arent rating you can really sit back and enjoy with good conversation with friends. But as a rating, quite meh and when you dig (and return to the rating), not really good as a bitter.

Bärnstensfärgad vätska med tunt skumlock. Brödig, lätt karamellig arom. Karamellig och fruktig i smaken. Stram och lite torr beska. Återhållen och blommar aldrig riktigt ut.

500ml Bottle - Amber with a foamy head. Biscuity and fruity aroma with notes of dried apricot, nuts and biscuit mix. Interesting taste with some slightly sweet fruity notes, biscuity malt, floral hops and nuts. I was not expecting much but this is rather pleasant.

Bottle @Luppolo Station (Rome). Ambrata carica, limpida, schiuma bianco-sporca media. Al naso note di malto, biscotto, leggero erbaceo. In bocca è maltata, dolce, con chiusura appena amara. Corpo leggero, carbonazione medio-leggera. Piacevole.
