Named in honour of the inquisitive and extremely “fursty” ferrets of the Gribble Inn, a celebrated golden brown ale, full of character.
At the heart of many a countryside village can be found an inn. A place where locals go to relax after a long day. At one such inn, rumour has it that inquisitive ferrets would sneak to the back door to cheekily sample the local brew. A sweet nutty palate, hoppy aroma and a hint of Seville oranges, give this tawny amber ale its distinctive personality. Recommended with smooth and creamy West Country Cheddar or indulgent pork pies and mustard.

Bottle. Poured dark gold with an average sized off-white head. Aroma of malt, caramel, hop and citrus. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. Towards medium body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation.

0.5l bottle. Clear orange body with a thin white head. Very bland beer. Faint sour grainy and bready character with some weak grassy hops. Not good at all.

Butelka. Ciemnozłote, klarowne. Piana średnia, opada, ale pozostawia ślady na szkle. W aromacie przypieczona skórka od chleba i trochę trawiasto-ziemistego chmielu. Gdzieś w tle majaczy karmel. W smaku z początku słodowo, ale z wyraźną, raczej miłą kontrą chmielową - taką właśnie trawiasto-ziołowo-leśną (skojarzenie z piołunem). Wysycenie średnie do niskiego, ciała mało, ale nie nazwałbym go wodnistym. Nie jest to piwo orzeźwiające, ale można je wypić np. po posiłku.

From keg. Clear honey yellow, medium white creamy head. Stays. Good lacing. Aroma: biscuit malts, floral hops, butterscotch. Light to medium body. Oily. Pale malt & floral hop tastes. Light bitterness. Very drinkable.
