Bottle from the club. Black with a small brown head. Dark nose, some soy. Super sweet, very smooth and balanced flavor, rounded and velvety. Nice bitterness to balance it. The rum vanilla flavor is perfect and not overpowering. Chillis are barely noticeable but they add so much. Three thumbs up.

375ml bottle. From To Öl Beer Club. Poured oily black, not much head. Oily, thick mouthfeel. Pleasant rhum in aroma and flavor. Barrel notes indeed. Some roastedness, sweetness obviously. Good sipper. Fairly complex. No chili detected.

Pitch black pour with a beige head. Oak, caramel, toffee, booze, subtle roasted malt, rum spices, not much else. I used to love this beer, it was roasty, spicy, dark, thick, complex. Now it's just sugar and booze.
