Bottle at tasting with Gurthnar, Cuso and MisoW. Malty aroma, caramel, toffee, coconut. Tastes the same as aroma, warming alcohol notes, light sweet and bitter. Full body, malty toffee bitter sweet finish. Very good.

Bottle. Dark brown pour. Aroma of sweet maple, bourbon, caramel fudge, vanilla, red fruit and nuts. Taste has rich maple, caramel fudge, bourbon vanilla booze, caramelised malt, raisin, red fruit and candy. Boozy finish. Very nice, just what I wanted. Very sweet though.

(Keg at Pien, 20181214) The beer poured clear and nearly black. Its head was small and nearly white. Aroma had toasted malts, vanilla and maple syrup. Palate was medium bodied and warming with medium carbonation. Flavours were sweetness, maple syrup, vanilla, toasted malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet and bitter. A too sweet and boozy brew with decent aroma.

Bottle @ home. Opaque very dark brown to black color, decent to medium sized beige to mocha colored head. Aroma is malts, bourbon, brown malts and I get light notes of caramelised sugar. Taste malts, brown malts, bourbon, caramel, dark / brown candy sugar, some milk chocolate notes, maple a bit, slightly alcohol bitter notes. Decent to medium body and decent carbonation. Decent.

Bottle from Lupe Pintos, Edinburgh. Appearance - almost black (a hint of brown) and with an olive sheen. Thin crema head. Nose - dark chocolate and booze. Prunes and raisins. Taste - dark chocolate, treacle going into a lightly spicy ginger cake. More raisins. Palate - full bodied, sweet and boozy. Overall - nice after dinner option.

Bottle from Pezinská pivná pumpa Super yummy. Bourbon well recognizable on both nose and tongue. It has all the lovely flavors, bit spicy on tongue, warming (but not intrusive) alcohol. Sweetish maple syrup. Excellent autumn drinking, I need more.
