Bottle at home, koszi Kini! Jet black pour with beige head. Nose is maple, bourbon, woody notes, vanilla, boozy touch. Taste is pretty similar to the aroma, perhaps a bit less refined with a slightly-too-much alcohol burn at the end of the sip, but it’s still heckin great. Medium to heavy body, soft carbo, thicc sipper. Great one.

Bottle from Hopt. Aroma is thick fudge, caramel, toffee, bourbon, lots of maple, dark malt, chocolate fudge cake, some alcohol. Flavour is sweet with a moderate bitterness. Body is full. I think I prefer the base beer by a small margin, but this is beautiful as well. Tasty marriage of fudge, maple and bourbon.

330 ml can, probably from 2020 or 2021. Jet black with a beige colored head. Burnt malt, rubber, burnt sugar, toffee, maple syrup, dark honey, chocolate, bourbon, leather, some resin. Dry bitterness, rich boozy malty sweetness. Full bodied, slick texture, soft carbonated, dry boozy chocolaty syrupy bittersweet finish. Despite being opulent, a very tasty and quite drinkable Brown Ale, not that extreme as those flavored imperial stouts, but very balanced and harmonious.

330ml can. Pours almost black with a beige head disappearing rapidly. Aroma of maple, bourbon, chocolate, liquorice. Taste is sweet, loads of maple, bourbon, vanilla, chocolate, oak, caramel, treacle, fudge, very warming and boozy finish - in a good way. Full bodied, very smooth. Excellent!

12oz can pours a cola brown with some grey head. Nose is ok, malt, tobacco, brownie batter. Flavor is nasty, huge birch and witchhazel, malt, sweet tea. Full bodied, sweet finish. Nope.
