Can at DC Ratebeer tasting. Poured a nearly pitch black color with a medium sized tan head. Aroma was roasted malts, vanilla, woody bourbon. Roasted chocolate. Tasty stuff.

This is way overrated. Taste doesn't balanced well. Too much maple, and the barreling puts a weird off taste. Brown pour with ok head. Dried leaf kind of aroma here. Cloying sweet finish. Can.

Can (forgot where from) had this in Frank, Akademiestraße, München after a night out with Peter and Nancy at Hofbräuhaus Wiener Platz Tuesday 5th June 2022. Pours black with a little tan head. Bourbon on the nose and provides a warmth in the mouth, some citrussyness in fact it was hoppier than I expected. This is good and easier to sip than anticipated. Good, in fact very good.

Blik 33cl thuis. Bourbon, vanille, eik, syrup, sticky mouthfeel, caramel, zoet, toffee, esdoornsiroop, licht boozy, sojasaus, liquorice. (27-2-2022).

Pours a dark brown colour and a light brown head that doesn't last long. Aroma's: bourbon, red fruit, brown sugar, maple syrup. Maple syrup is more upfront retronasal, albeit a bit artificial. Flavour is above moderate sweet, with some boozy sourness. Alcohol is warming but not sharp. Medium to full bodied. Long finish with brown sugar, light roast, light moderate bitter.

Keg at BD Tower Hill, 07/12/21. Light black to dark mahogany brown with a decent tan head. Nose is sweet malts, toffee, chocolate, bourbon barrel, brown sugar melt, dates. Tatse comprises dark chocolate, toffee crisp, light coffee sprinkle, bourbonics, light spice, dried fruits. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost. Not bad by any means but comes over a touch sweet for my liking.
