Bottle. Clear deep brown body, almost black with a nice, stable, dense, lacing beige head. Strong and nice aroma of dark roasted malt, strong coffee and lactose. Taste is smooth and sweet, mild roasted malt, coffee, dark chocolate, milk chocolate and decent bitterness. Fine body with a strong, long lasting aftertaste. A very pleasant and tasty stout where the coffee and the lactose is well integrated together with the dark malt and even the high alcohol feels like a balancing part of this beer.

Bottle. An unclear dark brown beer with a cute beige head leaving nice lacing. Lightly burnt, roasted aroma with coffee, licorice and a meaty touch. Nice piney, orange zesty hoppyness too. It's full bodied, warming and quite sweet on the palate, with a nice bitterness. Very smooth carbonation. The flavor too has lots of coffee, with roasted malts, burnt hints, almost bonfire, some licorice and dark chocolate, and a citrusy hoppyness. Lasting finish with lots of delicious flavors. A really nice one, tasteful and pleasant. 210611

500ml bottle kindly shared by Finn. Near black in the glass, remaining fawn-coloured head, crocheted lacing. Coffee beans, earth, and chocolate on the nose, very promising. Well balanced malt-forward taste of mocha chocolate, coffee and a backdrop of dark fruits. Lingering roasted ending, not overly sweet. Full boded, enjoying sipper warming down the swallow. (Rating session at Finn's with lmojoh, Finn, and djoeye, Tromsø 28.01.2021).
