440ml can. Soft, roasty and hoppy with some pine, grass, ashy notes and hints of coffee. Okay.

Can from The Beerhive. Black body with a beige head. Faint lacing. Aroma of charred wood and liquorice. Flavour of blackcurrant and pine. Medium body with a smooth texture. Soft fizz. Sweet and bitter at the same time. Really nice.

Can. Turner’s, Sheffield. Clear, very dark, cola brown. Loose bubbles of beige head is messy and sticky. Nose has wood ash. Cocoa powder. Light roast coffee bean. Some pine cone. Taste is pretty full on bitter, with chocolate and coffee truffle sweetness. Medium body. A little drying. Moderate carbonation. Lingering bitterness on the finish comes over very CDA. Tasty gear, for sure.

Dark beer, thick light brown head. Smells of malt, pine, hops. Taste has toasted malt, pine, a bit of zestiness, grassy hop, a little dark chocolate and something lightly smokey too. Rich with a big hearty punch to it.
