Ghost Ship is a ghostly pale ale which takes its inspiration from Adnams 600-year-old haunted pub, The Bell. Brewed with a selection of malts - Pale Ale, Rye Crystal and Cara. We use Citra, and a blend of other American hop varieties to create some great citrus flavours.

Can from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is biscuity malt with piney hop, notes of grapefruit and orange marmalade. Decent bitter flavour with a mild sweetness. Medium body. Basic chuggable bitter English Pale.

Cask at The Marquis in Covent Garden. Amber orange pour. Creamy white head leaves stellar lacing. Bready, earthy malt nose. Flavor is smooth, malty and delicious. My first proper pint in London. Some spicy hops von backend.

Cask at the Trafalgar, Greenwich. A hoppy ale that was surprisingly dark for the taste. Easy guzzling despite clash of Malts and fruits. Need to rerate.

Amber/golden pour with quite a bit of head. Aromas of malt, citrus and hops. Taste is similar, but more on the maltier side. Sessionable.
