Ghost Ship is a ghostly pale ale which takes its inspiration from Adnams 600-year-old haunted pub, The Bell. Brewed with a selection of malts - Pale Ale, Rye Crystal and Cara. We use Citra, and a blend of other American hop varieties to create some great citrus flavours.

Cask at the Trafalgar, Greenwich. A hoppy ale that was surprisingly dark for the taste. Easy guzzling despite clash of Malts and fruits. Need to rerate.

Can 44. @home poured into a pint glass. Clear pale amber colour, tall frothy white head, good retention and lacing. Aroma toasted malt, orange, apricot, pineapple, grassy and floral hops. Taste medium sweet and bitter, malty, citrus, hop resins. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, semi-dry sweetbitter aftertaste, grassy and grainy notes, very nice.

(Cask at White Horse, Parson's Green, London, 27 Nov 2022) Golden colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with citrus, grapefruit, pine needles and leafy hops. Fruity, hoppy taste with notes of citrus, grapefruit, resin, pine needles, grass and a balanced citric/grassy bitterness. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Fresh and quite drinkable, with a generous and fresh hop presence. Very nice.
