Bottle at Sarah’s house. Adnams fest. Copper coloured pour with a fleeting off white head. Flavour is straw, burnt sugars, and chalky mineral. Palate is very thin, watery and carbonic acid. Poor.

Pours a clear coppery color and is topped with an average slightly off-color head. The mostly malty aroma is nice and there are also some soury and alcohol notes present. The taste is moderately bitter with slightly metallic aftertaste. Drinkable and nice, except the finish.

Bottle. Copper with a hint of red in its colour, and not much of a head. Has a light grainy character and easy to drink.

Bottle at home, thanks to JF for the donation, 27/12/13. Pours copper amber with a good sized off white head that dissipates to pondwork over time. Nose is toffee, malts, orchard fruit, light bread dough. Taste comprises toffee, bread dough, berry fruit notes, bready/toasty malt base. Medium body, moderate carbonation, dry finish with light bittering. Ok bitter but not much doing, fine for the ABV though.

Cask handpull at The Knights Templar London. Clear gold lasting cream head. It’s a light session bitter with hints of a golden ale. Some yeast to it. Decent condition. Served a little cold. Fine
