1/12/2018. Bottle from Beer52 and shared at the 1st Kesgrave 50/50 bottle share. Pours very dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma of coffee, chocolate and roasted malt. Medium sweetness and moderate roasted bitterness. Medium to full body, slick texture, above average carbonation. Disappointing.

Appearance- very dark brown, a large 2-3 finger brown head. Aroma- coffee, milk chocolate, caramel, biscuity malt. Taste- lots of chocolate and coffee, roast malt, chewy toffee, bitter dark chocolate, dry bitter finish. Smooth and quite full mouthfeel. Tasty stout.

33cl bottle from Beer52. A glossy black pour with a thick coffee coloured head; slightly sweet aroma of deeply roasted grains with a touch of burnt toast; smooth and silky in the mouth with a slight sourness to the grains and a nicely rounded bitterness with some fruity coffee notes; and a dry finish with underlying caramel. Surprisingly lacking in chocolate flavours.

Black beer, beige head. Smells of chocolate and coffee. taste is caramel, bitter malt, chocolate, coffee. Rich and smooth and a touch of tangy fruit running through it as well. Just like it's Elements Project partner, this is delicious.
