With the same malt and yeast base as its Citra sister, this opaque juice bomb is bursting with the incredible aromas of pear, watermelon and stone fruit that the El Dorado hop is so
rightly famous for.

19/1/2019. Bottle from Beer52 (as a gift from a friend) and shared at the second Kesgrave 50/50 bottle share. Pours clear (not murky) pale amber with a bubbly off-white head. Aroma of citrus, caramel, tropical fruit, pine and yeast. Medium sweetness with light to moderate bitterness. Moderate body, slight oily texture, average to soft carbonation. Fair.

Appearance- slightly hazy light amber, a rocky 2-finger off-white head. Aroma- orange, fresh hops, citrus fruits, grapefruit, malt hints. Taste- juicy fruit, hop undertones, fruit juice, traces of pineapple and mango. Not much bitterness or carbonation.

33cl bottle from Beer52. A clear golden amber pour with a thick cream head - perhaps I should have shaken the bottle before pouring; herbal aroma; fruity taste; with a light piney bitterness and a hint of orange and watermelon to finish. A rather run of the mill IPA.

I had this after its comparison "partner" beer for the Elements Project. Hazy yellow, thick white head. Light, sweeter aroma. Pears and a touch of grass. Flavour is really mellow. Pear again, very slightly tangy but it's mostly soft and sweet. Quite crisp though, not sickly or cloying. A touch underwhelming as the flavour just isn't distinct enough but it's pleasant all the same.

It's not murky, more hazy. Tastes good.
