Bottle: Clear, amber coloured, small stable off-white head; fruity and roast-malty aromas, a tinge of molasses, too in the relatively dry malty and hoppy nose; moderate to solid bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied; lingering hoppy and sweet-malty finish, including traces of fruit-cake. Good Fullers quality, as usual............

The beer has a nice color, dark red with a pretty white foam. Smells a bit toffee, malt, burnt, margarine and some fruitiness. The flavor contains mainly caramel and hops. Bitterness is quite light. Some burned notes are there too. Nice and clear drinkable beer.

Big yellowish brown lasting head. Deep brown body. Fruity caramelly wooden aroma with spicy dusty toffee notes. Dry-sweet malty wooden papery taste with wild berry and cocos notes. Soft, mild mouthfeel. Mid-bodided. Dry fruity wooden cocos aftertaste with chocolatey notes. Clashes a bit. Still nice, though. (0.5l bottle, Systembolaget, Charlottenberg.)

Clear deep amber with a large beige head. Aroma had toasted malt, caramel and floral hops. Flavour was wuite hoppy and had notes of caramel, toasted malt and ripe fruits. Finished bitter. Not bad for a bottled english beer.
