Deep amber in colour, Old Winter Ale is a strong beer with a malt, cookie and liquorice aroma. The prominent Crystal malts add sweet, nutty flavours, balanced by floral notes from Target, Challenger and Northdown hops.

Orangebrun klar med høyt beige skum. Lukter bær, lett karamell og et hint kaffe. Søt smak, kandis, noe brent. Kort noe bitter avslutning.

Amber color with small tan head. Aroma is bitter caramel malts, earthy Old World hops, and nuttiness. Taste is intense on the bitter caramel, toffee, overall quite dry, but with a heavy maltiness, bitter "black tea"-like finish. Exactly how you’d imagine a malt-heavy UK Pub Ale. I imagine that this would pair nicely with a christmas pudding.
