Cask at the Rose & Crown, Sandhurst. A reddish copper colour with a thin white head; caramel aroma; malty caramel taste with some toasted grains; and a dry, firm, resinous bitterness to finish. A rather good bitter.

Cask, The Wellington, Hull. Darkish mahogany colour with a thin tan head. Some vague dark fruit and spiciness happening in the flavour which leads into a bitter finish. Not without some charm.
