Raspberry oatmeal stout. This extremely moreish 4.6% abv stout has hints of coffee and chocolate on the nose and is chocolatey to taste with an incredible raspberry aftertaste. Can from Westhill Sevice Station. It pours darkest brown to black with a decent frothy beige head. The aroma has sweet tangy raspberry, cacao, plain chocolate, nutty, coffee grounds and hazelnut praline. The taste is dry, bitter hard roast, earthy, coffee grounds, umami, tart raspberry, slightly jammy and a touch of nuttiness. Medium body and fine carbonation. Nice aroma, but perhaps a touch harsher on the taste.
