Another BrewDog icon reimagined by the masters of funk.

Loaded with sharp, pithy grapefruit and orange zest, our latest foray into the outlandish realms of sour IPAs brings about a bright and vibrant beer that combines tangy fruits with juicy hops. It pours golden-orange in colour, with aromas of citrus jumping from the glass. On the palette it’s refreshing and sharp, laden with grapefruit and funk, with a dry finish.

Bottle takeaway from Brewdog Lothian Road. Appearance - cloudy orange to amber. White head. Nose - intense grapefruit and green apple skins. Taste - apple skins prominent this time, but still grapefruit and pith. Palate - dry, tangy, and sour. Light to medium bodied. Persistent finish. Overall - very nice.

Keg at BD DogTap. It pours cloudy burnt orange with a white cap. The aroma is bright and zingy, lovely grapefruit character, tangy, tinned fruits, touch of sherbet, pomelo and candy. The taste is crisp, dry, tart, tangy, some deep funk, wet wood, lovely juicy grapefruit vibes, pomelo, sherbet, touch of fizzy candy, fizzy cola bottles, some wood and no real hint of acidity or alcohol. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Approachable and moreishm not much depth, but very drinkable.
