On cask in St Albans. Appearance - mat black with a creamy head. Nose - tart raspberry and creamy chocolate with chocolate cereal too. Taste - sweet then tart raspberry, again chocolate cereal. Palate - medium bodied, creamy sweet and sour finish. Overall - ok.

Cask at Bird in Hand, Stafford. Pours a dark reddish-brown with a medium sizedoff-white head. Not much of an aroma – just vague hints of malts and berry frits. In the mouth it is smooth and sweet with a creamy texture and raspberries and malts to the fore. Some hints of chocolate too. Finish is fruity and slightly dry. This is nice enough, and notoverdone with the flavouring, but doesn’texactly set the world alight.

Cask-conditioned at the Wyvern, Swindon May 2023. Near black in colour, with a frothy, beige, head. Toasty malts, a touch of tart raspberry fruit, some earthy depth, leading to a moderately bitter finish. Good.

Half-pint, cask ale at Robin Hood. Shared with Finn. Beige head. near-black body with a deep ruby shade, upper part lacing on the glass. Inviting smell of berry skins and roasted malts. Blended malt-berry taste, raspberries, almond, and chocolate malts. Sweet malt-berry end. Soft on the swallow. Pretty nice. (St. Albans 18.02.2023).

Delt med Rune på The Robin Hood, St. Albans. Svart. Lysebrunt filmskum. Veldig lett sjokoladearoma. Myk munnfølelse. Smaken lett bringebær. Søt. Litt sjokolade i en bitterløs avslutning…

Gravity dispense at the Prince of Wales BF, Farnborough, 16/10/21. Extremely dark mahogany brown with a decent beige cap that thins to a swirl. Nose is mellow roast, nutty, cocoa sprinkle, red berry dusting. Taste comprises chocolate powder, raspberry pips, light roast, toffee, dark fruit rinds. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close. Decent enough porter.

Tried at the tiny tavern Lincoln. Opaque reddish deep brown colour with a thin tan head. Aroma has lots of raspberry. Taste sweet berry. Slightly thin body.

Cask gravity at Planet Thanet 2019. Nearly black beer lasting beige head. Raspberry aroma. Not overly sweet. Some chocolate some cocoa. The raspberries are good. Decends into cocoa. It's fine. Ok. A little thin on the finish but om
