An intense but well balanced imperial sour. Papaya and lime fill the nose while passion fruit zip and tang punch from the body. A tropically sour Umbongo. Dangerously drinkable with a warming alcohol delivered through the chest. Audacious, acidic, outrageous.

From tap at Barrel Project, Bermondsey, with Holmen1, 07.08.22. Dark golden amber. Excellently balanced aroma and taste of dried apricot, fresh apricot, mandarins, brett, dry sherry and bourbon.

Keg at Barrel Project. Low key fruity aroma. Light amber. Thin translucent white head just clings to the rim. Medium-heavy sour with tangy marmalade. Medium bodied. Slick. Average carbonation. Not overly astringent finish. Hides the ABV and dangerously drinkable.

Keg at the Barrel Project, 31/10/19. Almost clear golden copper with a well presented egg shell white covering. Nose is apple rind, tangy fruit peel, dusty straw, mellow funk notes. Taste carries a mellow acidic rip, bitter citric shreds, lemon rind, tangy fruit esters, hay bale, passionfruit pissoi. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light acidic pinch in the close. Not bad ... an easy drinking sour.
