Cask at The Prince Of Wales, Aberdeen. It pours clear amber with a foamy white head. The aroma is earthy, cereal, toasty grain, brown bread, oily orange, but of toffee and marmalade. The taste is dry, bitter - sweet, pithy citrus, oily orange, lemongrass, floral pine, bit of toffee, biscuit and toasted nut with a drying finish. Average body and soft carbonation. A bit more malt component than I want for a single citra copped ale. Ok.

On cask at the Guildford Arms. Appearance - golden and hazy with a thin fluffy head. Nose - elusive but definitely not citrus. Burnt biscuit and not much else. Taste - burnt bread and nothing else. Palate - light to medium bodied with a crunchy texture. Dry astringent crunchy finish. Overall - really hard going.
