50cl as "Station Works Foxes Rock Stout" (brewed in N.I. by Cumberland Breweries) .Pours close to black with a modest beige head. Feel a bit cheated here, I thought it would be another NI tick, but then it's England? Even thou it's "handcrafted Irish ales" and brewed in N.I.? But anyway; rather mild roasty aroma with notes of dark, bitter chocolate, dark fruits and hints of wood. Moderate to medium sweet with fairly low flavour intensity and a light bitterness. Drinkable enough.

Bottle 50 cl. As "Station Works Foxes Rock Stout". Pours a dark brown with an orange hue and a small, off-white head. Subtle roast in the nose, or more dark dried fruit. Light in body, low in carbonation, some mellow licorice. Porterish and very drinkable. Very old school British, but fine for what it is. 041217

Kicsi, gyorsan eltűnő hab, fekete szín. Alig érezhető illat, pörkölt maláta, csoki. Enyhe ízek, pörkölt malátás, halvány csoki. Enyhe keserűjét kizárólag a pörköléstől kapja. Enyhe szénsav, soványka test. Szegényes ízvilágú sör.
