Keg at the brewery. Light haze on this gold beer, no head. Palate is light and fairly dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Light lemony tartness sits very awkwardly with tangy earthy coffee. Some tangy orange on the light finish. I mean lemon & coffee? Why?

Keg at St Johns taproom, Hackney, 13/12/18. Very lightly hazed golden copper with little in the way of a head. Nose is coffee grinds, green peppery spice, green berry skins, damp straw. Taste comprises sharp bitter citric piss, mellow coffee grinds, light spice, tangy red berries, light wood must. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with light acidity. Ok stuff .... gets the coffee message across but quite restrained again for Chorlton.
