A full-bodied reddish brown ale with a low hop content and tastes of toffee and caramel. The specialist malt bill contributes to a thick and malty drink with a nicely rounded off creamy white head. Nourished in former whisky oak for subtle be noticeable flavour complexity.

9/2/2019. Cask at the 37th Fleetwood Beer & Cider Festival. Pours slightly hazy dark amber/brown with minimal head. Aroma of roasted malt, sweet toffee, hops and fruit. Medium plus sweetness, moderate bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Slight nutty finish. Ok.

Cask @ Fleetwood Beer & Cider Festival. Nice head with good duration. Color is brown. Aroma and taste are fruits, malt, hops and has a sweet light bitter finish.

Cask @ Fleetwood Beer and Cider Festival. Hazy brown with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and dark fruit. Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter. Sweet finish. 090219

Tired at the Strait and Narrow Lincoln. Deep amber colour with tan head. Aroma toffee and malty hints of wood and barrel. Taste light sweet malty. Medium body.
