Bottle from Brewery. Amber brown colour with a very slight white head. Aroma is fruity light malt. Taste light bitter. Medium body.

On cask at the brewpub, pours a muddy amber brown with some creamy white head. Nose has toasted bread, yeast, mild nut, malt. Flavor follows with toasted grains, yeast, some nut. Creamy finish.

Cask (Ship Inn, Low Newton) - Dark brown with orangey tinges. Chestnuts, biscuity malt and dried fruit in the aroma. Rye, chestnuts and biscuity malt feature in the malty and nutty taste.
