A complex mix of Malt and Hops using the traditional Lagering method of the early 1800's.

Smooth and full bodied with a biscuit malt base and light effervescent hop character, our crisp lager leaves the palate Fresh.

A perfect match for smoked meats, sausage and pungent cheeses.

Bottle from the brewery drank at Whakapapa holiday camp with view of mount Doom (if it wasn’t crazy dark). Clear amber with small off white head. Caramel, light grapes, bready, raw cocoa, dried apricot, quite some fruit skins, grassy hops. Medium sweet and also medium bitter in a fruit skin kind of way. Medium bodied with a bit oily feel. I didn’t expect much, but this is quite alright.

From notes. Draft at the source. Clear deep amber color, tan edge head. Aroma of caramel. Taste is sweet caramel, few hops, little carbonation.
