Refreshing not overly hoppy English style pale ale but with new world hops and a hint of vanilla.

14/2/2019. Bottle from BEER:shop, Hitchin. Pours bright gold with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma of malt, hops, fruit and butter. Quite heavy sweetness, light to moderate bitterness. Moderate body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Buttery finish with some increase in bitterness. Have had better from this brewery.

Bottle at home from the brewery. A good pour and an aroma of malt and hops. The taste was immediately farmyardy, but that quickly changed to a harsh, but welcome, bitterness that lasted to the end of the beer. This is a true English pale ale and I loved it. It perfectly complemented a dinner of chicken and chips!
