Bottle from the Real Ale Warehouse. Pours clear amber with a thin white head. Aromas are malty, slightly nutty. Taste is light bitter, nutty, malty. Sweet finish.

Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol 6/6/2017. Amber in colour, with a thin, off-white, head. An easy drinking bitter, with caramel, some hedgerow fruit, cereal malts and a moderately bitter finish. Fine.

Tried at the Golden Eagle, Lincoln. Amber colour with an off white head. Aroma had caramel light roasted malt and a touch of fruit. Taste light sweet. Nice and easy to drink.

Cask @ The Fox, Shipley. Copper with a thin head. Fairly ordinary session bitter with a light and drinkable maltiness.

Cask at the Golden Lion, Osmotherley, 04/10/13. Clear copper with a thin off white covering. Nose is bready malts, green apple, light toffee. Taste comprises orchard fruit, light sugar, earthy, caramel, green apple. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, dry finish with bitter notes in the finale. An adequate bitter.
