This black forest stout is probably more ‘gateaux’ than over-the-top, ice cream based dessert, but let’s have fun with it! Dark malts give this a rich, chocolatey base flavour, with the creamy notes of vanilla coming through too. The sharp, forest fruit send off is the cherry on top!

Bottle from Flavourly.com. Deep ruby to black colour with a thin light tan head. Aroma is spicy cherry and light roasted malts. Taste light sweet. Medium creamy body.
