Rogier Scherpbier approached Morebeer Brewing with the idea to use his Oberkulmer Rotkorn Spelt in a beer. Together with Timothy (Morebeer), they developed a recipe which they presented to Bas Jacob of Proefbrouwerij Gulpener, where the 3 gentlemen added a beautiful twist to the beer.
A beer where Spelt had an important role, but is enriched by fresh hops from the Gulpener garden and fermented with a modern New England yeast.
The result: A unique Spelt Beer with hints of stone fruits, earthly notes and a refreshing aftertaste.

Tap at Craft and Draft. Clear golden with big creamy almost white head. Bready, light creamy dough, apricot, light bakers yeast, wheat, some weird fresh wood. Medium sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with creamy grainy feel.
