Bottle. Archer Road Beer Stop, Sheffield. Might be getting on a bit, this, looking at the bbd. Opens with a big hiss. Pours very lively. Coppery amber colour. Soft haze. Bubbly, lasting, off white head. Nose has some lime. Bready malts. But mostly it smells like a bretted Belgian affair. In fact it smells not unlike Orval. Taste is light, astringent bitter. Fairly dry. Lots of foamy carbonation. Mouthfeel is a little dry and tart. Finish is much the same. Gone wrong, but not terrible.

Bottle from crafty bottle Lincoln. Deep golden to Amber colour with a thick pale tan head. Aroma malty and tropical fruit. Taste light bitterness to mid bitter full body.
