Een feestelijk, luxueus bier om een bijzondere gebeurtenis in je leven mee te vieren. Jubel is een vineuze dark sour waar een lichte hint van sherry of port in doorschemert, als in een oudere barleywine of quadrupel.
We hebben het bier samen met Hedonis gebrouwen en daarna 8 maanden laten rijpen op eikenhouten vaten. Deze vaten hebben we bewust iets minder vol gedaan dan gebruikelijk, zodat de zuurstof in de vaten de kans kreeg om samen met de sherry flor een fraai oxidatief karakter te vormen. Je proeft donker geroosterde noten, kastanjehoning, gedroogd fruit en een vleugje cacao bovenop de bittere tannines van de geroosterde mout. Jubel heeft een rond, filmend mondgevoel dat hem samen met de milde zuren tot een zachtaardig, bijna lieflijk bier maakt. Een kleine vreugdedans op je tong.

PD 25/09/18, BB 25/09/20, 375ml bottle;very harmonious & layered aroma with nicely presented Oud Bruin character;red wine with berries underneath, smooth tartness on the nose, notes of yogurt, bread dough, brown sugar, toasted bread crust, soft tannins

Bottle at THT February. Hazy brown with beige head. Tart grains, soft roast, light citrus, lactic sourness, blackberries, plums. Under medium sour and sweet, light bitter. Medium bodied.

Tap, Kromme Haring. Brown color. Dried red fruit and sherry in the aroma and flavor. Vanilla. A fruity sourness. Complex. Lovely!

Appearance is very dark brown with thin head. A little dry & woody. Light sharpness.

Tap. Dark brown color. Vinous aroma with grapes, rye bread and amandelspijs. Thinnish, but with a rounded sourness. Oak, grapes, sherry. Lovely and complex beer.

Dark brown colour, white foam. Tart, notes of red wine, wood, port, balsamico. very well balanced, great beer!
