(Bottle) Brownish black colour with brief, bubbly head. Malty, roasted nose with oak wood, dark bread, coffee, sweet liquorice, dark chocolate, butterscotch and vanilla. Malty, roasted, vinous taste with notes of oak wood, vanilla, dark bread, sweet black coffee, liquorice, chocolate truffles, toffee and a mild roasty bitterness in a warming and vinous finish. Full body, sweet. Thick and slightly oily mouthfeel. A bit boozy, but rich and warming. Very nice.

Sample (thanks omhper!). Black colour small brown head. Aroma is liquorice, coconut, vanilla and some mild alcohol. Flavour is liquoice, alcohol, some dried fruits and mild chocolate with some syrup and some whisky barrels.

Bottle. Malty aroma and taste, roastyness, cocoa, pralines, light nougat notes, alcohol, wooden barrel notes, light sweet, medium bitter. Full body, oily texture, malty roasty cocoa pralines bitter sqeet finish with warming alcohol notes. Ok.

Bottle.A other great beer from poppels.Pith black colour with medium beige head feels oily and fat creamy with note of roasted maly and coffee.

Small beige rim, over black beer with red surroundings. Spicy notes, sweet spices, X-mas spices, dark malts. Sweet roast, parmesan, other strong cheese. Sweet, alcohol, incense, red fruit, preserved cherries, speculaas. Very complex indeed, with something noble mould-like. Warming up a bit, chocolate flavours coming up. Chewy, viscous, filthily rich. Alcoholheat. Extremey complex beer, satisfying! Txs to Stef!

Svart farge med lys brunt skum. Lukter rosiner, lønnesirup, karamell og lakris. Søt. Smaker Kaffe, alkohol, vanilje. Kjenner litt alkoholvarme. Salt lakris i avslutningen.
