Tried at the bath brew house. Copper colour with a white head. Aroma malty, grain and light fruit. Ok.

Gravity cask @ The Albion, Ampthill. Amber/copper. Little head. Vinous, oaky aroma. A bit sour/bitter, but very clean. Short dry finish. Watery palette. A classic tasting bitter.

Cask at the Lyric, Soho, 09/10/13. Clear golden amber with a moderate off white covering. Nose is caramel malt, raw cake mix, sugar, vanilla essence. Taste comprises fruit cake, almonds, light toffee notes. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, dry finale with bitter notes. Solid enough bitter.

Cask-conditioned at the Gryphon, Bristol 2/03/2012. Deep amber with a slight, off-white head. Sweet, malty aroma with some caramel fruit and leafy hops. Flavour was also sweet, with a hint of butter, slight roasty edge and bitter finish. Didn’t work for me.
