Handpull cask at the Queens Road Tap, Leicester. Middle of the road gold, clear with a small film of white head. Caramel and biscuits aroma with some pomelo and Lotus spread. Sweet taste, a little toffee-sickly, with some astringency in the finish. Light oily body with soft natural carbonation. A good honest beer, maybe not for me though and a half is more than enough.

500ml bottle from Great British Food Festival - Awful murky pond sample of a body, no head and a ton of sediment. Thin and flat on the mouth. Nose has an uninspiring citrus, malt and caramel (by the book homebrew) nose. Taste is not unpleasant, but I was hoping for better seeing as I’ve a couple of others from Tollgate to chug.
