Darlinghurst is a suburb of contrasts and has the ability to turn everything you believe on its head. So too does Darlo Dark, a bold lager with a dark side, a rich, deep, slightly chocolatey dark side.
But it also has a soft side, balanced, surprisingly refreshing and smooth. It’s the hottest beer for winter.
The addition of noble hops makes it the coolest beer for summer.
Confused? Try a Darlo Dark right now and you’ll see how weirdly and beautifully it all comes together!

(Bottle) Dark brown. Smoky burnt aroma. Medium body with great bright carbonation. Dark burnt toffee, roast nuts. Very nice.

330ml bottle into schooner glass. Dark brown beer with nose of cocoa and dark fruit. Tan-coloured head which persists. Light zingy mouthfeel, some smoky maltiness. Finish is refreshing and lightly fruity. Looks like a stout, drinks like a lager. Nice.

Gifted bottle which was bought in Sydney, and drunk at home. Dark almost black, with thick creamy tan head. Aroma has nuts malt and caramel. Sweet malty and dry, with chocolate.
