Great Grey Owl is made with a medley of 5 American hops, including Citra to deliver a punch that belies its low ABV.
Strong early fruitiness leads to a lasting Bitterness a la Butcombe Bitter making for a very drinkable, bitter Summer Pale Ale

Cask at JDW Charlie Hall; light amber pour with medium white head, quite citric aroma, sweet malt taste with a hint of zesty lemon.

Cask at the Swan, Hammersmith - between the showers at Queens, 15/06/13. Clear golden with a thin off white head, good lacing ensues. Nose is malt, light hops, orange. Taste comprises orange, grass, light hops. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, light bitterness in the finish. Ok - more a golden blonde than an APA - not hoppy enough to fulfill the latter style for me, if this is ’generously hopped’ I’d hate to see them on a conservative day :)

Cask-conditioned at the Colston Yard, Bristol 1/6/2013. Pale amber with a slight, off-white head. Decent, cereal malts, plenty of citrus fruit and a lingering, bitter finish. Very good and plenty going on for a sub-4% ABV beer.
