Buzzing with sweetness, this carefully crafted cousin of our golden ale blends the finest Maris Otter malt with a hive-full of local honey from our North York Moors, resulting in a brew that’s cheekily different!

Bottle, gift. Aroma is soft honey with malt and light toffee. Flavour is moderate sweet with a light to moderate bitterness. Body is light to medium. Not overboard on the honey, which is a good thing.

Cask-conditioned at the Sentinel Brewery Tap, Sheffield 19 January 2017. Deep gold in colour, with a slight, white, head. Floral aroma with some honey sweetness. Flavour had a touch of stone fruit, more floral notes and a gentle finish. A good honey beer that avoided cloying sweetness.

Cask @ Sparrow Bier Cafe, Bradford. Clear golden with a frothy head. Has a high, supermarket jar honey aroma with a lesser and manageable taste in this respect.
