On tap @ Viva la PINTA, Kraków. Black with no head. Roasted malts, dark caramel. Sweet taste with the alcohol well hidden. Well executed Baltic porter.

500ml bottle. Opaque, darkest brown colour with small, creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, beige to tan head. Sweet-ish and roasty, dark malty aroma, notes of cocoa and dark chocolate, hints of dark toffee, a touch of liquorice. Taste is slightly roasty-spicy and sweet dark malty, notes of treacle, dark toffee, hints of liquorice; lingering, minimally sticky finish. Oily texture, smooth and soft palate, soft carbonation. Very clean and focussed, well balanced.

On tap at Lawendowa 8, pours black with a small beige head. Aroma brings out vanilla, light roast and a touch of cocoa. Flavour is quite rich, with lots of vanilla, some toasted malt, and cocoa. Rich and deep, with lots of layers. A little intense on the sweetness, but this is lovely. Excellent.

Bottle, clearly thanks to my greek friend. What would I do without you? Pours opaque black, medium creamy tan head, dissipates fairly quickly, good lacing. Aroma is roasty, ashes, molasses, cocoa, tanned leather. Flavor is medium sweet, medium bitter, roasty. Full body, creamy mouthfeel.

Bottle 500ml. @ [ Scooper Tasting ], Ulfborg, Denmark. [ As Podgórz 652 m n.p.m. ].Clear dark red - black brown colour with a average, open and frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, bread, roasted, dark malt, light chocolate. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, sweet malt, dark malt, sweet bread, sweet dark malt, roasted. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. Huge thanks to Mesjasz for that one! Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass dark black, nice small head. Starts milder than exspected, intense malty, roasty, earthy notes. Loads of coffee and chocolate, but very well balanced. Finish a bit more dry, bitter background. Still not too intense. Warming malty finish. Nice one!

500 ml. bottle @ Same Krafty vis-a-vis. Lagered for one year prior to bottling apparently. Black, little bubbles only on the side. Nose is umami, chocolate, mocha, caramel mixed with soy sauce. Taste is chocolate, mocha, umami, mocha, lager yeast, gravy, very smooth but also bit too plastic umami for me but largely very neat,... Body is lagered out, umami, soy sauce, chocolate,... Neat.
