Bottle. Clear orange color with big white head. Aroma is wheat, spicy yeasts, dough, estery, phenolic. Taste is phenolic, dough, wheat, spicy yeasts. Medium carbonation. Too phenolic, not my cup of tea.

Swing-top 330ml bottle. W smaku juz jej jakby brak, slodowo slodkawy posmak jest niemal identyczny. Piana jest ladniejsza i trwalsza, choc i tak szybko opada. Ostatni czynnik ktory wyroznia te wersje jest wiecej metnosci i kvasnicek, w wersji nie limitowanej byl jej kompletnie brak. Piwo jest w belgijskim stylu, ale w smaku jak czeskie, tylko piana pozostaje zblizona do belgow, ale niestety znacznie szybciej opada. Barwa jasno pomaranczowa, troche zamglona metnoscia. Zapach typowo czeskich slodow, w smaku jak strong lager, mocno alkoholowo-spirytusowe. Nienawidze tego smaku alkoholu i przez to tak niska ocena. Zalecam siegnac po belgijskie mocne Ale.

Many thanks to Cuso for this bottle! Nice fresh beginning. Smooth and fresh brew, malty, moderate bitter with a nice Ale aroma. Hints of sharp alcohol, but round and malty, moderate bitterness, round and malty, highly sessionable.

Barwa ciemnozłota, klarowne, piana biała, dość obfita, ale szybko się redukuje. W aromacie kolendra, owoce, nuty drożdżowe. W smaku słodowe, drożdżowe, czuć kolendrę, nieco nut owocowych, lekko przyprawowe. Niestety po ogrzaniu wyłazi lekka metaliczność. Goryczka maksymalnie średnia, wysycenie jak na Belgię nieco za niskie, treściwość maksymalnie średnia, alkohol dobrze ukryty. Niezłe, chociaż trochę brakuje charakteru, ma też swoje wady, ale daje radę wypić.

Bottle 33 cl. In this version called "Bohemian Winter Ale" - I wonder why the Swedes never created an alias for this? Anyways, pours deep golden - bordering amber - with a small, white head. Distinct coriander in the nose with a little underlying yeast. Rich, malty body, very sweet fruits and toffee with typical notes of Belgian yeast. Very subtle hops but quite some underlying booze. But a decent take on a Belgian-style Strong Ale. 090516

Mas Plenum stand at Vinocom Zagreb, 2014. Bottle. Looks empty. Lacks aroma, some orange and wood. Candy and strawberry flavors. Biting finish, light body. Great!?
