Mar ’15. A 0.33 l bottle from a local supermarket. It poured slightly hazy golden body with medium sized head. Pleasant and typical coriander aroma with sweet vanilla and biscuit malt. Lots of yeast, both in nose and flavor, which was not so typically smooth malty as they get in the style. Weird bitterness, both herbal and from alcoholic bite ruined it. Still, vanilla maltiness was probably most dominating, along with coriander spice. Again on the con side, too much yeast gave its share as well. Med body with lightly sweet and still very warming finish. Felt like a homebrew, only half successful.

330nl bottle from Beer Stop Dronfield - Clear gold, massive white head. Massive. Has a floral herby coriander nose with a sweet hint of alcohol and orange undertones. Very deep taste, raisin and grape tones that blend into a pleasant sweetness. The not too thin. yet not too thick mouth feel with a gentle carbonation that enhances the flavours. The finish is alcohol but with lingering wine and vanilla flavours.
