Piwo górnej fermentacji o głębokiej, ciemnobursztynowej barwie z rubinowymi refleksami. Do fermentacji zastosowano drożdże szczepu Trapist wytwarzające, oprócz alkoholu etylowego, bogatą gamę składników smakowo-zapachowych. Swój unikalny smak zawdzięcza również rozbudowanemu składowi surowcowemu, którego podstawą są różne słody jęczmienne i pszeniczne, a uzupełnieniem naturalny cukier karmelizowany oraz przyprawy korzenne i ziołowe.

Bottled@Tuulensuu, Tampere. Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is sweet fruits, some mild tartness as well as some earthy and floral notes. Flavour is fruity, mild floral and sugary notes with a bunch of sweetness and ripe berries as well. Not the typical abbey dubbel...

Bottle 500ml (Tuulensuu)
Deep ruby color, small steady creamy off-white head. Caramel, dates, diacetyl-like aroma. Medium-bodied. Sweet, toffee, grass, diacetyl. Not much trappist-like.

Appearance: Cloudy amber color a fine creamy tan head. Ok curtains.
Aroma: Berry fruity and a bit sweet malty.
Palate: Medium + body. Moderate bitterness and a fine balanced sweetness. Soft carbonation.
Taste: Round sweet berry fruity. Plum and mild vinous. Solid malty back.
Overall impression: Not often you can say: Tasty, fresh, powerful and easy drinkable to an Abbey Dubbel. But this one was. Nice!
Personal stats: Bottle from a trade with EIDsmadre.

Bottle from Ministerstwo Browaru (the shop, not the bar) in Poznan. - Nice golden brown colour. - Aroma is pungent and tart, with notes of vinegar. Taste is very tart, with lactic notes and cheap vinegar, followed by more aggressive, pungent and vulgar tartness, like vinegar essence or even worse. Not unlike a Flemish Red Ale, except for the vulgar tart finish. This was definitely not "brewed on the pattern of a Trappist beer", as the label indicates, or if it really was, something has gone awfully wrong with this beer (lactic infection?). In one word: disgusting.

Bottle. Pours hazy amber with airy off-white head. Distinct aroma of malt with a caramel note. Dark, malty taste with a roasted note. Good, dry aftertaste. Good stuff.

Bottle, 6.4%. Sweet aroma, brown sugar. Cloudy brown colour, a little reddish. Small stable off-white head. The flavour is sweet with a spicy sugar note. Has some sort of a bite to begin with, but I do not get any ginger flavour as such. Good alcohol level, could even do with a touch more.
