Draught @ 60’s Palaver, Joensuu. Pours pitch black with a smooth brown head. Aroma of roasty malts, hints of tartish berries, licorice, coffee and chocolate. Taste is smooth, slightly roasty and hoppy with hints of tartish berries, hints of coffee and chocolate. Finish is smooth, hoppy and slightly roasty with some licorice, hints of berries and chocolate. Interesting, not sure if the berry notes are intentional or not.,

Tap at One Pint Pub, Helsinki. Colour is almost black with small slightly brownish head. Aromas and flavors: Fruits, citrus, dryness, hops and roasted malts.

Intensive american hops dominating a little bit on notes of dark hops. Dark beer with nice brown, lasting top. Bitterness is quite good. The problem is that the malts are extremely burnt so it feels like tar in mouth, I do not like this trait in a stout. If not for overburning, it’s a good beer.
