Bottle @ home. Opaque dark brown to black color, medium sized beige head. Smell and taste malts, dried dark fruit, raisins, dark fruit, nice suitable sweetness. Medium body and suitable moderate carbonation. Quite nice!

33cl bottle at Brosundet bar, Ålesund. Pours hazy, almost muddy brown with a minimal head. Malty aroma with plenty of dried fruits, hints of Belgian yeast and spices. Sweet, fruity and malty with a mild bitterness, dried fruits are dominating the flavours. Hints of alcohol, but fairly well integrated.

(Keg at Ota Olut 2017) The beer poured dark brown and cloudy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had caramel, candy sugar Belgian style yeast. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were caramel, candy sugar, Belgian style yeast, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty, sweet and bitter. A nice strong brew with Belgian twist.

Mørk brun tåkete med høyt beige skum. Lukter svisker, kandis og noe trevirke. Fyldig. Smaker salmiakklakris, svisker og skog. Middels lang.

Fra fat på Apollon, Bergen: brunsvart med ok skum. Nydelig aroma og smak med mørk karamell, fiken, sviskeplommer, tørkede frukter, mørk kandis, brente mandler, mørk sjokolade. Søtlig men samtidig farlig lettdrikkelig med fint avstemt bitterhet hele veien.

On tap @ Apollon. Looks quite dirty almost really cloudy looking deep bronze colored body. Small filmy off-white head. Sweet dried fruits, Raisins prune, lots of malty caramel. Dry coffee, some cigar. Nice smelling indeed. Tastes really good. It's not cloying or too sweet at all. Thick and oily in the mouth and it's just below average on the prickling carbonation. Dark dried fruits. No real alcohol detected. Scary lightdrinkable for a quad and quite good this. 27.05.2017

Bottle, at the brewery. It’s a hazy brown beer with a small off-white head. Caramel, toffee, some dried fruits and a touch of alcohol. Caramel, chocolate, coffee roasted malts, alcohol, a pleasant bitterness and a piney touch in the flavor. Some sour notes. It’s full bodied, warming and smooth. Lasting finish. Perhaps a bit too much on the higher alcohol side, but sure nice. 170525
