(Bottle, 0.355 l, from Systembolaget, 20111229) The beer poured reddish brown and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had malts, hops and molasses. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, molasses, hops, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty, hoppy and bitter. Nice hoppiness with strong malty background but not extreme.

Nice dark amber with a beige head. Toasty malts, spices, light sweetness. Medium body. Flavor has a nice spice bite, sweet malts, toasted malt. Has the makings of a good beer but doesn’t come together like one.

355 ml bottle from Systembolaget. Clear, deep amber liquid with medium to big off-white head. Aroma of grapefruit hops, caramel, biscuits and spices. Maybe a bit cooked vegetables. Taste is light sweet, light bitter and light fruity. Boring, not much is going on here. Medium bodied with good carbonation. Doesn’t taste bad but is too boring, still nice with some hoppiness amongst all the malty Christmas brews.

Bottle. Reddish/amber with a small head. This was not a bad beer, but there was nothing special with this one, quite thin with notes of malt, some spices, bread and fruit. On the sweet side.

Bottled. Reddish amber colour with a mediumsized beige head. Aroma is nutty, a bit spicy, fruity and floral notes. Flavour is nutty, spicy, floral, wooden and some slight notes of hops as well. Rather strangely balanced as for the flavour.

355 ml bottle bought @ Systembolaget and consumed on December 8. Pours deep amber with an offwhite head that slowly dissipates. Smell is slightly sweet and hoppy with some bread, orange zest, grapefruit and pine. Taste is sweet and bitter with orange zest, boiled vegetables and sourdough. Finish is rather dry and slightly bitter.
