33cl bottle of the 2018 bottling consumed May 2024. Nose is sour, cherries and raisins, licorice, currants, sour cola. Flavor has some smoke and char in the back, big raisin, big sour cherry, natural wine. A big carob component comes out. Sadly, it must be a touch infected because the carb is so harsh on the palate its distracting.

Cherry, raisin, chocolate malt, musty yeast, and dry hay aroma. Black with large light brown head. Moderately sweet red cherry, raisin, chocolate malt, and mildly bitter musty hay flavor. Body on the light side.

Bottle at home. Dark pour. Smells of lovely dark fruits and wood. Tastes of wine barrel, cherry, fig, soy sauce, plum. Smooth palate. Touch of sourness. Quite enjoyed.

Definitely a sour imperial stout. Roast and smoke, prune. A hint of booze. Black pour with great head. Orange. A strange one. Tangy end with some roast. Bottle at Delerium.

330ml bottle. Quasi black colour with average, thick, creamy, moderately to mostly lasting, moderately lacing, beige head. Chocolately, dark malty and vinous, fruity aroma, notes of dark chocolate, blue grapes, red wine, some oak, morello, a touch of funk. Taste is dry, tart-ish, chocolately dark malty, vinous fruity, minimally funky, notes of cocoa, dark chocolate, blue grapes, some morello, red wine, a touch of oak. Creamy-watery texture, minimally astringent and minimally cloying palate, fine, medium prickly carbonation. Nice composition with emphasis on the fruity side, relatively light and easy drinkable; allusions to Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte - pretty.

Bottle. Black pour. Aroma of tart vineus red grape, oak, brett, dry horseblanket, chocolate and funky prunes. Taste has tart sweet cherry, vineus red grape, oak, chocolate, horseblanket, brett funk, prunes, fruity yeast esters and malt. Not very stout-like, more like a malty chocolaty flemmish brown. Very good.

33cl fles van Drinks&Gifts. Bijna zwart, beige kraag. Mooie zachte Vlaams Bruin met iets meer caramel en gebrande mouten. Geen zure stout gelukkig. Volle body, lekker bier.
