Pouring an opaque black with faint ruby highlights, Coffee Cake announces itself with bold, swirling aromas of cinnamon-brown sugar crumble, cappuccino, toasted walnut and dried fruits. The palate calls to mind flavors of freshly baked cinnamon-raisin rolls as waves of melted chocolate chips and dulce de leche are balanced by pronounced, yet delicate interwoven notes of nutmeg and allspice. Full bodied and mildly sweet with a gentle, balancing bitterness, Coffee Cake makes for the perfect, warming complement for the seasonal change of fall into winter.

From backlog. Sweet, heavy and roasty with loads of pastry notes, syrup and coffee. Okay

Draught at the brewery, 11.17.18.
Hazy mahogany with dark chestnut hues. No head.
Cinnamon and light chocolate glazed biscuits with a bit of milk sugar and yet again, somehow no booze. The cinnamon is strong but not quite overpowering. Heavy bread, cacao and mild fruity coffee all coming off quite easygoing without any fudgey sugar.
Cinnamon and sticky milk chocolate with malty softness and creamy lactose. Biscuit and cookie, shockingly dry, relatively speaking. No booze and the cinnamon slowy is absorbed in to the caramel and chocolate. Vanilla, biscuity cookie and coffee lingers. Low, engaging carbonation and no alcohol or flaw. Should be Really nice in about six months.
