330ml can from RusBeerShop in Moscow. Pours opaque black with a massive tan head… ridiculous gushing. Aroma is burnt brownies, chocolate. Taste is medium sweet, brownies, roastiness. Light bitter finish. Medium bodied. Overall pretty faceless. I didn’t get maple or caramel from this… just seemed like yet another pastry stout, and not a very drinkable one at that.

Tap. Dark brown, almost black, very good coffee foam. Aroma: good, caramel, maple syrup and chocolate, sweet, esters, a little coffee. Sweet taste, caramel, chocolate, cream, maple syrup, a little bourbon, warms, good for dessert.

Appearance: Opaque deep brown to black with a tan long-living hed. Aroma Maple syrup, roasted and toasted malts, cookies, vinous. Taste: Medium sweet, light bitter, Maple syrup, butter cookies, esters, restrained hop. Mouth feel: Medium to full body, average carbonation. Summary: Fashionably sweet, well brewed.

Creamy lightbrown good mostly lasting head. Black colour. Heavy malty and moderate hoppy aroma. Heavy bitter nice sweet flavor. Long heavy bitter great finish. Creamy palate. World class.

Can@Mathews tasting. Pours opaque black with medium dark brown head. Aroma is explosive (the aroma filled the huge tasting hall when it was poured) with vanilla, chocolate, caramel, cream, maple syrup, coffee liqueur (Kahlua and Bailey's) and White Russian cocktail. Taste is very sweet, light to medium bitter and light to medium salty. Body is creamy with light carbonation. Finish is long, extremely rich, sweet and salty with notes of liquorice, coffee, chocolate, vanilla, coconut and alcohol. Very well balanced and very rich

Can @ Torben Mathews tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are rich maple syrup, lots of caramel, roast malt, chocolate, coffee and has a nice long maple finish.

Zagovor Algorithm 12.5% Imperial Stout with Maple & Caramel Deep brown verging on black with a tan head and big chocolatey caramel maple aroma. Full bodied with some boozy heat. The initial flavor is sweet caramel maple but then you get a Smokey tobacco element that’s quite unique. Overall really good and how often can you try a Russian craft beer?

On tap at Tørst. Pours black. Maple, milk chocolate, caramel, biscuit, strong banana, slightly burnt maple booze thing in the taste. Good body. Aroma is good and it starts well but then finishes a little off for me. Still decent.
