Medium body, boozy and a bit dry. Dark chocolate, some coffee, bourbon, dark cherries in the finnish. Seems to be in good shape, smooth and very nice.

375mL bottle courtesy of andrewje41 (thank you!), pours jet black with a small tan head. Aroma is very bourbon-heavy and complex, with a wonderful bourbon barrel character, vanillins, and some alcoholic warming. Flavour is wonderfully integrated, with lots of dark dried fruits, luscious bourbon barrels, some vanillin, and toffee. Wonderfully blended. Elegant.

Power tasting at Erik's
Black colour. The aroma has plenty of barrel character, some booze, and dark malts, dark fruits, a lot of tobacco. Full bodied, rich malt base, some chocolate, and plenty of booze. It really needs to be warmed up to be fully appreciated; indeniable skills with the malt, but the barrel and booze are way out of balance. Still, it's excellent.

Dark brown, no head. The aroma has a lot of barrel notes, sweet bourbon notes and lots of them, with some dark sugars, too. Nice complexity. Soft body, raisins, lots of dates, some rich complex honey, light smoke, some alcohol. This is really complex. sticky, rich and tasty. The alcohol comes through a bit in the finish, of course, lending it a warming quality. Really nice beer.
